Some key dates in the history of the property  1861 Chr. Demel has the villa built, occupying plots no. 58 and 59 Neuwaldegg.1917 Hermine Koblischek acquires the property from the Demels. 1920 Acquisition of an additional plot of land in the upper garden. Architectual redesign of front/road-side elevations. 1925 The family receives the name and title of “Falkner von Sonnenburg“. 1929 Architectural re-design and extension to rear/garden side. The current appearance is created - have a look at the historic photographs of the property. 1971 Eveline Falkner takes over and decides to keep and maintain the property in its entirety.
1985 Installation of modern double glazing. 1991 Installation of gas central heating in the main building. 2009- Under new ownership. The Villa is undergoing renovation preserving its historical features.
Local Information
The entrance to the Schwarzenberg park, with its historic „Allee“ (boulevard), is located within 6 minutes walking distance. From here start trails through the Vienna Woods e.g. to the “Hameau” hill. The “Höhenstrasse” which leads through the Vienna Woods, is just 1 kilometer away.
